Friendly Hounds Professional Dog Training offers individual / private, group, and AKC training programs. Each training session includes happy dog life tips - critical care information on how to keep your dog healthy.
We use only positive training techniques to teach your dog manners and tasks. We do not use adversive collars like shock collars, e-collars, or prong collars that don't help a dog to overcome problems, but only serve to mask unwanted behaviors.
Prices below are for one dog, an additional dog requires a $15 surcharge. Training sessions are limited to a maximum of two dogs.
We believe that dogs are truly man's best friend and should be socialized as part of the family. Dogs that are living outside often develop behaviors that result in particular training challenges.
We will be happy to refer you to trainers that work with dogs that are kept outdoors.
Consultation Fee $55
The initial consultation allows you and your puppy / dog to meet Mary and Anthony.
Mary and Anthony will provide an evaluation based on observation / information and discuss training options with you. The consultation lasts 60 to 75 minutes.
Private Sessions $65
For owners / handlers who seek fewer than four sessions. Sessions last 60 to 75 minutes.

Full Family Dog Training $249
Four training sessions. Training sessions involve all members of the household (regardless of age). This is a great way to get children involved and to develop crucial bonding between family and canine. Sessions last 60 to 75 minutes.
Company Dog Training Program
Friendly Hounds Professional Dog Training will come to your business, company, or church to provide dog training. Contact Mary to explore number of sessions and group rates for your employees or members.
Comfort Dog Training $249
Four training sessions. Comfort dog training focuses on developing a strong bond between the dog and owner. The goal of comfort dog training is to use the dog as a conduit in helping the owner reduce stress and / or anxiety when in various situations. Sessions last 60 to 75 minutes.
AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy $299
Six class sessions. Sessions last 60 to 75 minutes.
AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy is for puppies up to the age of 1 year. AKC S.T.A.R. puppy focuses on puppy socialization and owner / handler education. AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy is a fun AKC title for all dogs. Owner benefits include a certificate from the AKC, a puppy care handbook, inclusion in the AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy database, a discount to enroll in Companion Animal Recovery Corporation, and a subscription to the monthly newsletter "Your AKC."

AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) $299
Six class sessions ending with the CGC test. Sessions last 60 to 75 minutes.
There is no age minimum / maximum for dogs. CGC is an excellent program to prepare you and your dog for the therapy dog evaluation. Owners / handlers learn proper techniques for taking dogs into public spaces. Dogs learn advanced obedience, socialization skills, and manners. Owner benefits include a certificate from the AKC, and inclusion in the AKC CGC database. CGC is an AKC title for all dogs.
AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) Test Only $55
For the dog / handler team that do not need training and are prepared to take the
final test.
AKC Community Canine $299
Six class sessions ending with the Community Canine test. Sessions last 60 to 75 minutes.
There is no age minimum / maximum for dogs. AKC Community Canine is an advanced title for dogs that have achieved Canine Good Citizen (CGC). Owners / handlers learn advanced techniques for taking dogs into public spaces. Dog learn advanced obedience and socialization skills beyond CGC. Dogs that pass Community Canine are awarded the advanced title of CGCA. AKC Community Canine is a title for all dogs.
AKC Community Canine Test Only $55
For the dog / handler team that do not need training and are prepared to take the
final test.
